Saturday
I can sit
With you
Alongside
The Platinum stream under a Golden sun
All morning
I can walk
With you
Through meadows
Constantly counting
Toe rings of
Sparkling emerald grass
One
By
One
I can pass
The afternoun hours
With you
Eating my candy kisses and caramel popcorn and
Placing your hand on my thigh
At the movie about
Melancholy love
I can cry
Saturday night
As reality becomes invisible
By inches and miles of fantasy
Dance on your lap
I can see through closed eyes
