Have you ever felt this?

Drowning

I think of you mostly
In the bathtub
Surrounded by a warm blanket
Of water and soft pillows
Of bubbles
I close my eyes and then
You are the blanket
Touching every part of me and the pillow I can rest my head on
When I need to

I go down
Far
Down
Under the cover
To play like
I really want and then
I realize
I'm drowning

Hi Yasmeen
Thanks for stopping by my blog today. I hope you will return. I too love to write. But, I haven't published anything yet. I love to write poetry, short stories and my blog. This poem is very deep. It's like getting in over your head in love. You don't realize you are in over your head until the moment you realize that love has completely consumed you.

This is nice. Yes, I've been there back, back, back in the day. Drowning and sinking into a sweet, murky abyss.

Yet another great poem!! Yes, I think we've all felt like we were drowning at some point in our lives.
